During the year 2000, a lot of work was done on the Billiards Hall, staircases, and on the second storey of the facade. One cannot negate the existence of difficulties and/or problems in a project of this magnitude but so far the problems encountered were always solved-the project as it stands today bears witness to this. * Following the feast of the Assumption (2000) - the Doric facade of these premises was sketched all along the facade and the mouldings on the first course were hand-sculptured by Joe Zerafa, John Spiteri and Martin Formosa. * In the meantime, work resumed on the Billiard Hall, the kitchenette and toilets - this work was done by Carmel Caruana and a good number of other volunteers.
