The complex consists of a basement used as a workshop, first floor used as a store for decorations and the Gawhra Hall for social functions. The land was bought in 1986. The  complex was ready by 15th July 1990 when the Gawhra Hall was inaugurated. 

   The basement is used as a workshop for ground fireworks wooden and iron  mechanisms, painting of statue pillars, restoration of statues, sewing and mending of flags and banners and a lot more.

   The Ground floor is used as a store for all the street decorations used for the feast. Previously it was all scattered in unused chapels and garages around Qrendi. The second floor is a hall named ' Gawhra' (Jewel) which is used for the club's social functions all year round. It is also often rented out to private social gatherings and parties.

Extension of the Gawhra Complex started in March 2007

The Complex is going to consist of an underground two storey garage, an extension of the store, a place for a future new Bandstand, and second floor to enlarge the Hall to be able to host weddings and big parties.
